Any advice on picking a room at the Stratosphere and/or Flamingo hotel? I have reservations for a World Tower Deluxe room at the Stratosphere and a Go room at the Flamingo. (I'm staying at the Flamingo for a business conference, but coming in early on my own dime to do some sightseeing, so I chose the Strat for those days because it was much cheaper.) (I've gotten that kind of "inside" info about a Disney hotel in Orlando in the past, and it really made a difference -- the room I got by asking was MUCH better than the one my coworker got by chance.) Should my girlfriend have shared a hotel with a male business friend? Recently my girlfriend went to a business conference out of town. Before she left she asked me if it bothered me that she was going out of town on business with a male colleague. I said no, not at all. When she arrived there she told me that she had all this room in her hotel room because her business friend didn't end up coming. Here is the part that bothers me. They were going to share the room together. Now money isn't an issue with this company and they could have easily got their own seperate rooms. I trust her and don't want to seem posessive. I Need a CHEAP way to get to business conference in New Orleans from Buffalo in March? I have an amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a conference that might really help advance my career but need to pay my way there.
