Comments on executive meetings, conferences and business transactions with alcoholic drinks are being served?
Do you think they are more sharp in decision makings?

- NO , drinking anything that is mind altering will not make you sharper, even with age.. Even the sober ones cannot make rational decisions , so why not drunk ..
- No but it does get the creative juices flowing. It also loosens tongues for a more open and honest discussion.
- they always go pear shaped*
- It's called the "Good 'Ol Boys" network. And some people just can't seem to get past it. I use to work for a company that allowed their sales people an enormous expense account. I was in accounting, and you would not believe all the bar tabs, strip clubs, and boating excursions we had to reimburse these morons for. I was on the other end of accounting too, so when the deal was done and it was time to pay, we got a million excuses from the client as to why they were not paying until we met all the ridiculous drunken promises our sales reps were making to them after a night of looking at naked knockers and getting stone azz loaded. And the kicker is, I was the one who had to clean up the mess. Unbelievable. And the worst of it is...for the accounting department to even get a free lunch, we ALL had to put in about 40 hours overtime or our work went unnoticed. Yet the sales department went through the day pickled, with free lunch and perks, and never even got reprimended!! What a JOKE!!
- That would actually be nice! But, what on earth does alcohol have to do with the good ol' boy networrk? Plenty of good ol' boys in my region are teetotalers
- Their answers probably aren't more sharp, but they are probably way more interesting. You probably get more honest responses. But that is not good - people do need a filter between their beliefs and what comes out of their mouths and alcohol totally takes that filter away.
