What OS is best for enterprise business services?

Why is windows used over Mac or linux?

1. i think windows is best, because its easy to use and there's more software out there for it, plus you upgrade it easy, for businesses you get more choose for servers and alot more network devices
2. Windows is widely used worldwide. Mac is only widely used in USA. So if you are talking abt business enterprise which one do you choose? me, windows.
3. For the desktop, probably still Windows, unless you want to hire someone who really knows what he's doing (which means more than the 40k level for your network admin). For servers, I use PCLinuxOS Business Edition. It comes with everything any small to medium size business will need (and a lot that they won't ever need, but it's all at one low price of free). The main reasons Windows is used are lack of knowledge (that almost everything you can get for Windows, you can get for Linux) and laziness. If the Vista debacle, and the XP SP3 debacle, haven't taught people, they deserve what they get.
4. Windows is used because there are many applications that are offered and are more compatible to what business needs for certain applications. parts can be easily replaced and images to adapt new parts are easier to make than using MAC or Linux type OS units.
